About Fostering in Dekalb
Foster Parents may help children for one night or several months while birth families work on better situations to be able to parent again. Resource Development in Dekalb is dedicated to recruiting and training families and individuals and supporting them through the fostering and adoption experience.
Become a Foster Parent
Dekalb County Department of Family and Children Services is always looking for new families and individuals interested in making a difference in a child's life. For questions about becoming a foster parent give us a call and come to an orientation session.
Other Opportunities
Even if you don't  think fostering is for you, there are other ways you can support our children and families including donating needed supplies or sponsoring a child to participate in an extra curricular opportunity in the community.
